NOVEMBER 25 - CAMPAIGN AGAINST STEREOTYPES FOR UIL - 2023
This campaign, created for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, aims to shed light on a perspective that has been largely overlooked in the past: gender stereotypes.
Our culture is built on the mistaken belief that gender education is rooted in predefined roles and ingrained assumptions that, over time, develop into restrictive character traits. These stereotypes instill in individuals—particularly men—a sense of responsibility to conform, which often leads to frustration.
The campaign seeks to spark reflection on this underestimated issue, highlighting how these stereotypes contribute to repressed and violent emotions.

This campaign, designed for UIL’s social media channels, stems from the need to highlight how, in Italy, issues like violence against women are still viewed as less relevant compared to others.
It also seeks to emphasize how many people remain detached from the issue, failing to see gender-based violence as a true scourge affecting the entire community.
